Operations for steam blowout started at Unit #3 in Ferdowsi Power Plant on Monday, July 6, 2026.
Steam blowout represents a critical key stage in the commissioning process for power plants intended to completely clean steam lines and equipment. Containing three 160-MW units, Ferdowsi Combined-Cycle Power Plant provides over 480 MW of power to supply stable power to the nationwide grid.
Once the third unit is connected to the nationwide grid, we hope this serves as an effective step towards reducing supply deficit and improving grid stability at peak hours.
Ferdowsi Combined-Cycle Power Plant is located in the city of Tous, Khorasan Razavi.
