The generator for the first steam unit of the Semnan Combined-Cycle Power Plant arrived at the project site on Sunday, September 20, 2026, following a 29-day transportation journey involving heavy-haul operations.

The gas turbine of the Sanabad Medium-Scale Power Plant entered the Ratchet mode at 21:00 on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. This is an important stage in the unit start-up process and indicates progress in the preparation of the turbine and generator.

As part of efforts to review project progress and accelerate the implementation of the steam units of the Semnan Combined-Cycle Power Plant, Dr. Navaei, Director of Investment Project Supervision at Mobarakeh Steel Company; Eng. Tabasi, Member of the Board of Directors of Pouya Energy Holding; and senior managers of Saman Power Generation Company and IMIDRO visited the project site on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

As part of efforts to review project progress and accelerate the implementation of the steam units of the Semnan Combined-Cycle Power Plant, Dr. Sepehr, CEO of Pouya Energy Holding, and Dr. Sadeghi, CEO of Saman Power Generation Company, visited the project site on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

The inauguration ceremony of the Khatounabad Medium-Scale Power Plant was held via videoconference on August 27, 2026, in the presence of Masoud Pezeshkian and Seyed Mohammad Atabak. The power plant was officially inaugurated and entered commercial operation.

As part of efforts to advance the cooling system retrofit project at Shahid Moftah Power Plant in Hamedan, Eng. Khaeifinejad, the project manager, accompanied by senior executives of Quds Niroo and MAPNA MD1, visited the project site on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, to review the progress of the project.
