At 3:03 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Fazel Abad Substation as a part of the Mazandaran-Golestan Power Transmission Project was connected to the power grid.
The Mazandaran-Golestan Power Transmission Project is being implemented by Caspian Power Transmission Project Development Company whose shares are held by MAPNA, MD1, Maham Shargh Co, and Azarakhsh Co.
The project consists of 24 substations and 22 lines where Fazel Abad substation is the first substation to have been connected to the grid.
Fazel Abad substation is located near Ali Abad, Golestan. The client for this project is Mazandaran Regional Electric Company and Ghods Niroo is the project consultant.
