About Mapna Md1
MAPNA Company was established in 1993 with the aim of implementing thermal power plant projects. The successful experiences of Arak and Montazer Ghaem power plants by MAPNA Company, as well as the country’s increasing need for energy in various sectors, encouraged the Ministry of Energy and the Electricity Development Organization of Iran to sign a contract for 30 gas power plant units with MAPNA Company. The contract for 30 gas power plant units was later named “30 Turbine Project” in MAPNA Company. This project was signed in 1999 between the Electricity Development Organization of Iran and MAPNA Company as EPC, with a value of more than one billion euros.
